First Street

Planning stages

Franklin Hampshire Habitat for Humanity was selected in 2023 as the developer for six new affordable homes on First Street. A community meeting on September 30th, 2023 was scheduled to officially present the plans at Montague Town Hall, introduce Habitat’s work to more neighbors, and answer questions from residents.

Warner Street

Completed 2012

Continuing our commitment to build in Franklin County, Habitat began work on a single-family home on Warner Street in Montague in 2011. Through a partnership with the Franklin County Technical High School, students gained experience working on home construction. This house was completed in the fall of 2012, and the Habitat homebuyers moved in in December.

L Street

Completed 2009

Habitat has also completed two single family homes on L Street in Turners Falls in collaboration with Franklin County Technical School in 2009.
